ANNA AND ELENA - MEDIAWAVE CONNECTS
It’s been always characteristic of the Festival to have a colourful guest-list. It happens that Turkish, Georgian, Persian, Russian or Venezuelan people are interested in us and visit the MEDIAWAVE Festival! Here comes a little conversation with Anna and Elena who spent their time during the MEDIAWAVE in the Weöres Sándor Theatre, Savaria Cinema and on the Main Square. Just like all the other Festival visitors who had a lot of fun during their stay.
Elena Kilina was born in Novosibirsk and has been to a lot of places around the World. She’s been at MEDIAWAVE photo workshop in 2008 for the first time. She didn’t know much about Hungary before the Meetings in Siberia International Documentary Film Festival’2008, that’s where she got in touch with MEDIAWAVE. At the 2008 Passport Control and MEDIAWAVE 1968 was the theme. Here are her photos: In memory of 1968. She studied Asian Studies and Philosophy at the University of Novosibirsk and she also lived in Sanghai. Nowadays she studies about Asia in Sweden. Before and during our conversation it is obvious that she is impossible to stop, she just talks and talks about anything and everything.
Here you can read about her a bit more.
Anna Kazanova struggles to say a word next to her. Her life is also full of travels and excitement. She studied in the United States, Kiev and she lived in Prague for a while. She’s had two exhibitions. She is a frequent MEDIAWAVE and Passport Control visitor and participant!
Here is Anna’s homepage!
